the basics

Almost all of our orders are packed in recycled and biodegradable materials, and we take pride in minimising our plastic use and waste materials wherever possible. We have experimented with many options, however for some items, such as original artwork, we still currently need to use bubble wrap to ensure that the piece is protected in transit.

The IATB core ceramics collection is in stock and ready to ship. Orders will be shipped within 3-5 days. Shipping costs are calculated per order and will be presented at checkout.

Every painting by Ania Brzeski is an original artwork, with just one available. They are ready to ship or collect from the San Francisco studio.

Our textile collection is made to order, due to a limited production capacity. The typical lead time for these pieces is listed on each product page, although this may vary depending on our weaving partners. The studio will inform you as soon as your order is ready to ship.

united states customers

Orders placed within the US are shipped via USPS or UPS depending on best availability. We aim to provide an accurate shipping estimate for your order, but we are at the mercy of our shipping partners. If you have not received your order within seven days of shipment, please get in touch.

united kingdom customers

Orders shipping to a UK address will be sent with FedEx or UPS and shipping costs will be presented at checkout. Please be assured that these are the best rates currently available, and we will continue to update the service in line with the current options. Please note that the customer is responsible for all customs and duties charges.

international customers

We currently only offer US and UK shipping via our website.

If you would like to place an order for shipment to another destination, please email the studio with details of what you'd like to order and we will get back to you with a quote. Please be aware that the customer is responsible for any duties or customs charges.

studio collection

If you are based in the local area and would like to arrange a free collection from our San Francisco studio, please enter the code ‘PICKMEUP’ at checkout. Once your order is ready, we will send an email with the available collection times.

Please note that we only have limited slots Monday-Friday, so you would need to have weekday availability.

returns + exchanges

Please get in contact within three days of delivery to arrange a return. The cost of the item will be refunded, but not the shipping or return postage (provided that the item is returned unused and in its original condition).

Any original artworks or made-to-order pieces, including our textiles collection, are non-refundable.

Rest assured that we would never send you anything that we do not consider to be a beautiful piece. Any variations in form, finish, glaze, pigment or texture are to be embraced and enjoyed as marks of the handmade process. If you have any specific questions, please get in touch.

By placing an order with our studio, you agree to the following terms:

• IATB is not responsible for lost or stolen packages

• IATB is not responsible for returned packages due to customer absence, errors in the shipping address or package refusal

• Additional shipping charges will be applied for reshipped packages due to the above reasons

• A street address is required for shipping. We do not ship to PO boxes

• If special handling is required to prep your order for shipment, we reserve the right to apply a handling fee
